Turn Inc. Getting Attention

Former Altavista CEO and Overture exec Jim Barnett is getting some attention as people speculate about his new start-up, Turn Inc.. We're trying to chase down details of what this new company actually does. It's described in this SideStep.com press release (Barnett is chairman of SideStep) as "a next-generation Internet advertising network." Meanwhile, John Battelle says the firm will "compete directly with AdSense." Barnett is chairman and CEO of the new venture.
