Casual game site Miniclip has a game called "Pirates fo the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" which is coinciding with the December 5 release of the movie's DVD. It's no coincidence; Buena Vista Home Entertainment (BVHE) sponsored the game which will go live on Tuesday.
In it you control a ship as it circles a whirlpool. You must rescue 100 lost souls (five at a time), and pick up barrels of ammo to fire at the squid-like Krakan that appears at the center of the funnel. It's a basic game that doesn't tie into the movie any more than the general pirate theme, but the branded game engages players with a message that will last longer than the gameplay. The question is whether the message will last for a whole month?
