A surprising number of Super Bowl advertisers failed to include a URL in their big game spots, and Search Engine Watch has a thorough rundown of the fumbles. Those who didn't offer Web addresses include Bud, Coke and PNC Bank, whose commercial actually showed someone doing online banking. Is this sloppiness or have advertisers just come to assume people are fluent enough in search to find marketer information that sparks their interest without a URL to guide them?
