T-Mobile to Unveil Its Google Phone

Share

T-Mobile-G1-gPhone.jpgWord is T-Mobile today will unveil its new mobile phone, called G1, that uses Google's operating system called Android.

PC World mag speculates the phone will include free Gmail from Google. Update: Indeed, TmoNews says it's confirmed the phone comes with Gmail, YouTube, Calendar and Google Talk. Memory is expandable up to 8 gigs.

Analysts predict the Google phone will unlikely match last year's debut of Apple's iPhone.

"I doubt that anything can match the hoopla that has been created by Apple,'' IDC analyst Shiv Bakhshi told Bloomberg News.

ClickZ's Enid Burns will be reporting on this development today at IAB's Mixx conference today. Look for more coverage -- and what this means for advertisers.

The T-Mobile looks like a i-phone and when it includes Gmail features,I can say it is most useful for working on office applications on mobile and as well We can also check & send Mails,We can chat with the phone it self.Without having a computer we can use this phone as a mini computer.

Everyone is missing the point of this phone. It is not really the phone google are marketing but the software, which has unbelievable potential for the mobile phone industry. I am creating a list of all the anroid applications for users on my site.

As a T-mobile user I love the fact that we finally have something on the scale of a i-phone. The software is the star of this phone. I can hardly wait.
